The City Planning Commission Records contains meeting minutes, Planning Department staff reports, plans of lots and surveys from 1918 to 2006.

The City Planning Department Library Collection contains reports, studies and project proposals from a variety of city departments and related agencies.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment Minutes contain meeting minutes and case decisions of the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) from its creation in 1923 to 2013. Minutes and decisions from 1998, 1999, 2001, and 2002 are not included in the collection. The records document zoning variances requested by property owners and the Board’s decision in each case. Information included in Zone Cases include the type of variance requested, findings of fact about the case, conclusions of law, and whether the requested variance or exception is granted or denied.
