Footage includes a fire truck demonstration at the intersection of Grant St and Liberty Ave (0:21 - 3:53); a fire drill outside a school building (3:54 - 6:09); the scene of a residential fire (6:10 - 7:27); and the scene of a fire at Duquesne Brewing Company at 22nd St and Harcum Way on Oct. 24, 1972 (7:28 - 14:29), which includes footage of a news reporter interviewing Fire Chief Thomas Kennelly (12:06 - 12:27). Footage of Fire Bureau personnel responding to a fire at an abandoned warehouse on Liberty Avenue in the Strip District in the early hours of November 6, 1965. The warehouse, which had formerly been owned by the Railway Express Agency, stretched multiple blocks, from 22nd Street to 27th Street. No sound.

Fire Bureau vehicles featured in the film include a battalion chief car and an Engine Co. 33 fire engine. No sound.
