Includes transcriptions of deeds of all parcels of land comprising Point State Park from 1784 to 1941, which were compiled by Planning Department staff to support the Commission's research.

Includes supplementary research material to Part One of the Report of the Point Park Commission, as well as additional copies of maps and drawings that were included in their reports and deed transcriptions.
1940-1943
Includes copies of maps and plans from a variety of libraries and archives that were compiled to support the Commission’s work. Many of the maps show the locations of both Fort Pitt and Fort Duquesne superimposed on maps of 1942 Pittsburgh, while other maps show the environs of Pennsylvania and surrounding states as it relates to the history of the forts. When applicable, the original map's location and creators are noted within the description.
